Meet Sara
For as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with clothes and fashion. Growing up in a house with 4 sisters, clothes were everywhere. We shared clothes, fought over clothes, all the things. A lot of hand-me-downs, but I found a way to make them mine. In fact, our mother worked part-time at the Gap simply for the discount. After graduating from the University of Florida with a magazine journalism degree, I moved to New York City with high hopes of working for Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar, but as my luck would have it, I ended up working in live television….

Why Invest in a Closet Edit?
A closet edit cleanses more than just your closet. It creates an “immeasurable serenity,” a sense of calm that allows you to let go of feeling weighed down. It can feel overwhelming to tackle one’s closet alone, and it does typically take at least twice as much time as you think it will. And working through your closet isn’t a typical chore either, because it requires you to come to terms with a lot of emotional baggage, quite literally. We tend to hold on to things for sentimental reasons, or to items of clothing we think we may one day wear again. Whether they are not currently in style, or that may not fit at the moment, our closets are generally full of things that no longer need to be there taking up space. If your closet is full of clothes, but you feel you never have anything to wear, then a closet edit will dramatically change the way you get dressed each day. Chances are, a shopping spree isn’t what you need. After most closet edits, shopping your own closet is almost equally as exciting as a day at the mall.
